The Green Slip and Cup & Saucer

This is the green slip trial that came out of the firing last week, I'm not that keen on it as it is a mottled effect which was not what I was after.
This is the first cup and saucer I have made for over 20 years. The Idea with this off set saucer is that it gives you room to put some biscuits on the saucer.

My green slip kind of mottles too. I'm still trying to find one I like. Test, test, I guess.

Have you tried Chrome as your colorant? Ive found that chrome is an extremely powerful green colour, you dont need much in the mix, 1% should do. And it doesnt mottle the way copper does.

I didn't like our granite glaze when it first came out but now it's not only one of my favourites but it's the one of our punters fave's as well! Maybe keep it for reference, pos' future use?
