Slipware Jugs

Saturday Morning and I have unloaded another glaze firing
that's the 3rd this week.
Here is one of the jugs I've promised myself I would make
more of this Year.
and as if by magic here are 3 more.
I also slipped this tall jug this morning
it's green slip.

and I've made myself a couple of large baking dishes
I think these look so much better with the slip dribbling down the side.
Here are all three together drying in the workshop,
Also out of the kiln today is this order for 20 mugs.
It's a cold misty day around here.
But we also have now got the National Trust stock
back close to some kind of acceptable level.
Now to start making some more Devon Jugs.
I'm feeling really good at the moment and feel as if
I'm right back in it now.
with a head full of new pots I want to make.
That's always a good sign.

You have been busy! The pots look so inviting, just waiting for their new homes.

Your pottery and pots all work together to make a great environment.

Great work, Paul. I've just come from Doug's blog, seeing his new bowls ... It's always inspiring seeing the kind of fresh slipware you two make.
