At least someone is working !!

We all seem to be busy doing other things, with very little potting going on this week. So I thought I would buck the trend this weekend.
My Glaze firing is all loaded up and ready to go, but due to work commitments this week, it's going to have to wait until next weekend. I have a mischievous squirrel hanging around the kiln shed at the moment so I just hope he doesn't get in a cause Havoc. I thought I would put this picture of my kiln when it was nearing completion. as you can see my steel work to support the arch is very simple. and it works.

Yes it's good to see someone is being productive and getting muddy. I hope to get back on the wheel tomorrow. Nice shot of the kiln, it's good to see what you have there and what is working for you. I am going to go with a flat fiber top for now. Hopefully I'll work on that this week too. Keep at it!

I worked for a builder once and we got called in to a littlepetrol station near my mums where things had been going missing for years. It turned out they had started hearing rustling noises under the floor boards.Sure enough when we lifted them to investigate we found six binbags full of crisps nuts and certain brand chocolate bars a squirrel had been squirreling awway, presumably for a very rainy day .Luckily I don't think this sort of rodent behavior will affect you .Theres a certain look to potters at the wheel when i can think of the right description i will let you know.
