Jugs! and more interesting people

I'm not sure if you have seen these jugs before

but I took these Pictures in the workshop Yesterday.

These are both about 10" tall

I had a guy come in the workshop the other day who lives in America now

but used to live in a village in England and he has a lot of Svend Bayer pots

because he taught Svend's kids to play the guitar and Svend paid him with pots.

love the cream colored glaze... what a deal, pots as currency... i'm always happy when i can make the exchange.

Hmmm ... I traded a mug for a dozen fresh eggs the other day. I thought that represented my first real transaction as a country potter. Lovely jugs, Paul.

Pottery is the New Yoga?

Earlier in the year one of my daughters sent me a link to an article in Vogue magazine which stated "Pottery is the New Yoga"...
