Wild Night

We laid in bed last night listening to roof tiles slip down the roof. I wasn't looking forward
to getting up to asses the damage. but as it turned out. these missing tiles were from our neighbours side of the roof. They are away at the moment, but we have rung them and their builder is coming along later today to sort it out.

Isn't interesting that you have three distinct roofs in your picture each with a different pitch. I'm getting quite into all this building stuff and I love to look at buildings and see all the different bits.

Anyway, at least the tiles I here crashing down haven't been attached to the roof yet. And ironically, my kitchen roof - 12.5 degree pitch with inappropriate semi-interlocking pantiles for a min pitch of 25 degrees - is being stripped at this very moment.

Hopefully things won't be quite so bad tonight.

That meant to say "Isn't it interesting" - looks like I was saying it isn't interesting when it is! And I meant "hear" instead of "here". Quality control is out to lunch, obviously...

That's not our roof, I took that in our neighbours back garden. I'll take some shots of our cottage on friday.
