Very Old Toilet and a Harvest Jug Slipped

A Friend of ours has found these two very old toilets in his parents shed, He is building a new house at the moment and is thinking of putting the two of them side by side surrounded in an oak wooden frame, but one of them is in poor condition.
If anyone can shed some light on them, we would be most grateful.

I decided to do my simple yet effective slip decoration on the Harvest Jug, I thought long and hard about putting lots of writing on it but decided against it.

Nice toilet. I have never seen one like that before. It will be interesting to see what others know. Good looking jug. Less is more.

Great job on the jug not sure about any kind of job so far as the toilet is concerned but I know John Glick used to make thrown ones (had one or two teething problems with them, not sure I should have used that particular metaphor I think I feel sick now).

Fine jug Paul, I had the same dilemma with the Harvest Jug deco - the originals are so ornate, it's hard to know how to approach it. I did the same as you in the end, kept it simple because that's the way I usually do things.

That stuff for repairing pottery that I was telling you about is Milliput, your mate might find it useful to sort out his loo. You can get it from hardware stores or pottery suppliers.
