This is a Teapot I made when I was about 16. It was inspired by a visit to Michael Leach's workshop when I was about 13. I have never had the courage to add a cane handle, But I think I will start looking for one this year. I had a Bisc firing on Saturday which went well. I have a weeks holiday now so I should be very busy in the workshop over the next week.

A week of making pots, that'll be good, bet you're looking forward to that.
Nice teapot, what size is it?
At 16?!? Wow that's pretty cool. have a good week making pots and more pots.
Hi Doug, I just measured the tea pot. it holds just over 1 and a half pints. It's an ash glaze that I made myself. It was one of the pieces I took to Harrow College, when I tried to get on the Harrow course. Mick Casson said my work was good but I was too young, to cope with the rest of the course, as the average age was 27 and I was only 17. He told me to come back when I was 21, but by then I was married with a daughter. Don't ask. !!!!
Wow, 16. And you made that glaze then too? Very cool. Have fun making pots this week.
I love Mick Casson - a truly great man - but in this context, what an arse! That's a great tea pot.
