Wedging Techniques......

I tried a bit of Bulls Head Wedging today
That seemed to go fine as you can see.
But I was going to make some tall jugs with long necks
so I tried a new Technique
"Giraffe head wedging"
Seemed to work
I never did get around to making those tall jugs
Maybe tomorrow.

Haha loving the bulls head technique! Im rubbish at wedging, maybe the giraffe method would suit me better? It's amazing what we potters get up to when left alone for hours in our workshops isn't it?

You should try the moosehead wedging technique. It's great for prepping the clay to make hat racks.
