New Showroom Hops

Our Hops arrived this week
so we set about putting it up straight away.
I was always wanted to have Hops in the new showroom
and I think it's softened the look
and it compliments the pots nicely.
I'm working on a number of orders at the moment
including some prototypes for the Somerset guild,
a wine cooler for the pub and a wassail cup for
a cider making competition.
Having lots of odd bits to make is nice in some
way's but it's hard to get a rhythm up.

Marion has found a bit of time to start practicing
on the wheel again.
It's nice to watch her in action
and she keeps cutting them all in half at the moment
I'm also making a large green Pancheon for a deli in Winchester
To go with this smaller white one.
Next week we start on an order for a Deli
in Germany, Yes another one
we have to make 150 pots.
I can see some late nights coming on.

These big restaurant orders blow my mind! I don't know how you do it...but I DO know why they want your pots!!!

Busy, busy....as Anna said I don't know how you do it, but it's pretty cool that you have a good demand for them.

What is the difference between a Wassail cup and a regular cup?

I'm not sure how we get the orders either, they just seem to email us and ask if we can make them for them. The wassail cup has three handles so that it can be passed around from person to person, or should I say from germs to germs.

It's a traditional Cider drinking cup, for a wassail evening in this part of the world that is 17th January.

It's always great to see wel made pots... but uh... that's some beautiful hops there. What variety are they? I have grown a variety called Cascadehere in NC but never have seen such large clusters of huge cones. Wow Do you have plans for them??
